Minnesota Event and Tent Rental is here to help! We’ve pulled to together our most frequently asked questions and concerns and have listed them below in our FAQ. Take your time and read through. It’s important to be informed and feel confident about who you work with!

  • Yes, we always set up and take down our tents.

  • Yes, a 50% deposit is required to hold the items.

  • A non-refundable 50% deposit is taken at the time of booking to reserve the inventory items for your event date. You may change or update your order up to 2 weeks prior to your event if inventory is available. If you cancel your event your deposit will not be refunded.

  • They are delivered curb side unless prior arrangements have been made and fee has been paid.

  • Saint Paul, Minneapolis, Shoreview, Maplewood, Oakdale, Stillwater, Woodbury, Prior Lake, Rosevillle, Cottage Grove, Burnsville, Duluth, Rosemount, Hastings, Minnetonka, Andover, Apple Valley, Eagan, Farmington, Lake Elmo, Edina, Grant, Victoria, Rochester, Forest Lake, Western Wisconsin, ETC

  • The University of Minnesota, Vikings TCO Performance Center, CHS Field, Amazon, InterContinental Hotel, Target, Bix, Churches, Funeral Homes, Mansions, Golf Courses, Homes, Hotels, Parks, and many more.

  • Our tents can be set up on concrete, grass or asphalt.

  • Yes there is a delivery fee based on distance from our warehouse.

  • There are several options for securing tents, including weights, water barrels, and ground staking. If staking is desired, a TCER representative will contact Gopher State One to have your property marked before staking. Clients will need to mark the area where the center of the tent should be with a bucket prior to the arrival of Gopher State One.

  • We can control a lot of things, but the weather isn’t one of them. No refunds will be issued for weather-related cancellations.

  • If approaching weather is threatening with high winds, hail, tornados or lightning, please evacuate the tents and get to a safe sheltered area. TCER monitors weather conditions and reserves the right to take down tents at our discretion in order to prioritize safety and prevent damage to the tents.

  • When your event is over, please clean up and remove all trash, wipe tables and chairs down if necessary, and stack them neatly underneath the tent as they were upon delivery. Our crews will do the rest!

  • Standard delivery includes the set up and tear down of tents, sidewalls and rented string lights. Tables and chairs will be delivered in stacks underneath the tents, but can be set up by our crews on request for an additional set up fee.

  • Standard delivery includes the seven-county twin cities metro area. Deliveries outside of the metro area are available upon request for an additional fee.

  • Yes. Winter events in Minnesota and Wisconsin are a blast! However, we do require the sub-rental of a heater for each tent setup to protect the tents from freezing and cracking. And also – to keep you warm at your event! You can find your own tent heater to rent, or we’re happy to sub-rent one for you based on availability.

  • Yes. Tents can be placed in public parks or streets with the proper permits and permission. Obtaining permits is the responsibility of the client and should be done prior to paying the non-refundable deposit to reserve items for your date.

  • Sidewalls can be added to any tent upon request for an additional fee (priced per linear foot). Both cathedral sidewalls (with windows) and solid sidewalls are available, and can be added to one or more sides of the tent creating partial shade, wind block, or full enclosure.

  • Reach out to TCER at any time for a free quote or site visit. Once we understand your vision for your event, we will generate an email quote that you can electronically accept and place a 50% non-refundable deposit on. TCER cannot guarantee the availability of any inventory for a specific date until a contract is signed and the deposit has been paid.

  • Request a complementary site visit! A TCER representative will gladly come out to your event site to measure your site and make recommendations for tent sizes and configurations to ensure there won’t be any surprises on the day of your event.
